Meeting Venue and Hotel Accommodations:
The 14th Annual ContinuEd® Veterinary Ski Symposium is being held at the stunning Fairmont Chateau Whistler Resort, in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. The Fairmont Whistler has been repeatedly voted by readers of travel publications as one of the top ski destination hotels in the world. The group room rate of $309 CDN per night, single/double, plus tax, represents a huge savings over the regular rates at this world-class resort. (Remember, too, if you're traveling from the U.S., with the current advantageous exchange rate, the room rate is around $242 in US Dollars.)
Hotel Reservations:
To make reservations for accommodations, please call the Fairmont Chateau Whistler reservations directly at 1-800-606-8244 or Fairmont Hotels and Resorts Global Reservations Centre at 1-800-441-1414. When you call, identify yourself as part of a group: “ContinuEd Veterinary Ski Symposium”. As with most resort properties, cancellation policies apply for your reservation. Be sure to ask what they are.
Deadline for making hotel reservations:
There are a finite number of rooms in our room block, so it is likely that our room block will sell out prior to the final reservation deadline. Don’t miss out. Make your reservations early. Reservation requests must be made by January 7, 2009 in order to qualify for your group rate. After that date, reservations may be made at the prevailing rate.
Currently room rates are subject to the following taxes: 1) Provincial Hotel Room Tax - 10%, 2) Federal Goods & Services Tax - 6%.
