Frequently Asked Questions about "Surgical Nursing Care in Small Animals"
Do I need to be a registered veterinary technician to attend?
No. The seminar is open to veterinary assistants and hospital staff, as well as registered veterinary technicians.
I've only been in veterinary medicine for a short period of time. Will the program be over my head?
No, at least not based on the feedback we've received from thousands of participants who have already attended. It suggests that the interactive presentation and detailed support materials we're very helpful for those with a limited background.
I've been in veterinary practice for over twenty years. Will I get anything out of the program?
Also based on feedback... we hear time and again that those with years of experience take home new information and valuable "tid bits".
How many continuing education credits do I get?
Every state and province determines its continuing education credit a little differently, but this seminar has been approved by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards RACE (Registry of Approved Continuing Education) Program for six hours of continuing education credit.
I notice there's lunch served. I'm a vegetarian. Will there be anything I can eat?
Yes. Although we don't request vegan options from the hotel, we do always have a vegetarian lunch option available.
